1. Introduction

Welcome to Timeless Knots. By accessing our website (thetimelessknots.com) or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Timeless Knots is a handmade crochet brand based in Bengaluru, India. All products are handcrafted and made to order. These terms govern your purchase, use of our website, and interaction with our brand.

2. Made to Order — Production & Lead Times

All Timeless Knots products are handmade to order. This means:

No item is manufactured until your order is confirmed and payment is received.
Standard lead times vary by product category, ranging from 10 to 20 business days depending on the item and order volume. Category-specific timelines are provided on each product page and in our Shipping Policy. Exact timelines will be communicated at the time of purchase.
Custom orders may require additional time. A timeline will be confirmed with you before production begins.
Lead times may be longer during festive seasons or periods of high demand. We will notify you of any delays proactively.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these production timelines.

3. Orders and Payment

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Orders are confirmed only upon successful payment.
We accept payments via the methods available on our website at the time of purchase.
Timeless Knots reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of a pricing error, suspected fraud, or inability to fulfil the order. A full refund will be issued in such cases.
For customised orders other than the listed product types, a non-refundable advance of 50% of the order value is required before production commences. The remaining 50% is due prior to dispatch.

4. Custom Orders

We welcome customisation requests. For custom orders:

All requirements (colour, size, design reference, occasion) must be clearly communicated before confirmation.
A proof or reference image may be shared for your approval prior to production. Once approved, changes cannot be accommodated.
Custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable once production has commenced, except in cases of manufacturing defect.
Timeless Knots reserves the right to decline a custom request at its sole discretion.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship within India. International shipping availability will be updated on the website when introduced.

Shipping timelines are estimates and begin from the date of dispatch, not order placement.
Once dispatched, a tracking number will be shared with you.
Timeless Knots is not liable for delays caused by the courier partner, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or circumstances beyond our control (natural events, strikes, etc.).
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the courier.
In case of a lost shipment, we will raise a complaint with the courier on your behalf and assist in resolution, but cannot guarantee replacement or refund until the investigation is concluded.
Product images may include styling props, accessories, footwear, or complementary items shown for illustrative purposes only. Unless explicitly listed in the product description, only the primary product is included in your purchase.
If a shipment is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, recipient unavailability, or an incorrect address, re-dispatch charges will be borne by the customer.

6. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Given the handmade and made-to-order nature of our products, we follow a limited return policy:

6.1 Eligible for return or exchange:

Product received is damaged or defective.
Product received is significantly different from what was ordered.

For items damaged in transit, please do not accept any package with visibly tampered or severely damaged outer packaging. If damage is found upon opening, photograph the item and packaging and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@thetimelessknots.com. We will assess and respond within 3 business days.

6.2 Not eligible for return:

Change of mind after order confirmation.
Sizing issues where correct measurements were provided by the customer.
Custom or personalised orders (unless defective).
Items that have been used, washed, or altered.

6.3 Refunds:

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Timeless Knots website, including but not limited to photographs, designs, text, logos, and product imagery, is the intellectual property of Timeless Knots and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without prior written permission.

The Timeless Knots brand name and logo are proprietary. Unauthorised use constitutes infringement.

8. Care Instructions and Product Responsibility

All Timeless Knots products include care instructions: Hand wash cold. Do not wring.

Timeless Knots is not responsible for damage resulting from failure to follow care instructions, misuse, or normal wear and tear over time. Natural variations in colour, texture, or dimensions of handmade products are not considered defects.

9. Privacy

Any personal information you provide (name, email, phone, address) is used solely for order processing, communication, and delivery purposes. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required for payment processing and shipping. By placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purposes stated above, in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. 10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Timeless Knots shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

12. Amendments

Timeless Knots reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised terms will be effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the website or placing of an order after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
